The Curriculum deals with complex and nuanced matters and may not apply to any particular set of facts or circumstances. The Curriculum was developed as an educational program and resource for licensed health care professionals in Canada. It is not intended as a substitute for clinical judgment, and each learner is responsible for exercising such judgment and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and professional obligations in the jurisdiction and region in which they are licensed to practice.
I agree that neither the Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers (CAMAP) nor any persons involved in the development and/or instruction of the material has or will be asked to accept legal responsibility to any person for its contents or for any consequences arising from its use or misuse including for any loss, damage or injury (including death) arising from or in connection with the use of the Curriculum, in whole or in part.
I agree that I bear all legal responsibility for the use or misuse of the materials and instructions provided to you by CAMAP and any instructor(s). All views and opinions expressed by a teacher in any in-person or virtual instruction of the Curriculum are the views and opinions of that teacher and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of CAMAP or its employees or the developers of the Curriculum.
I acknowledge and agree that the laws and practices are subject to change, and agree that it is my responsibility to be aware of any relevant changes to law, professional obligations, and/or best practices. CAMAP assumes no responsibility to notify learners of any such changes.
I understand the above stated clarifications about CAMAP and the Curriculum.
